Objectives:
To become a national center for new technologies for application at various levels of policymaking and planning in the country.
To become a think tank for establishing extensive connections among the country’s elites from various professional and executive levels.
To promote the culture of new technologies in the country and the region.
To participate in national projects.
To develop international cooperation.
To develop human resources and science and technology policymaking in collaboration with national and international centers.
Missions:
To foresee and identify new technologies and provide solutions for industries to access them.
To hold meetings with industries and organizations to identify needs.
To commercialize knowledge-based products.
To graduate skilled researchers needed by the country’s industries.
To assist in enhancing the international standing of the university.
To equip specialized laboratories to provide services and conduct demand-driven research.
To enhance technical knowledge through holding seminars and workshops.
To periodically identify and introduce new technologies for planners and policymakers.
